The Institute for Computing in Science (ICIS) at Argonne National Laboratory is an innovative approach to accelerating science and engineering discoveries through advances in computational science and large-scale computing.

ICIS hosts scientific workshops that bring together leading experts to address challenging topics that can take advantage of emerging petascale and exascale computing technology — whether through new computational paradigms, advanced methods and algorithms, novel application of large-scale computing technology, or large-scale data analysis.

ICiS is planning a variety of workshops and programs that will be aimed at problem areas of community interest and to foster new collaborations among the participants.

We are now taking proposals for the 2012 Summer Session.
